Maplepaw: I said it's personal. I never said I wouldn't tell you. Would you still like to know what happened? *looks hoping Rosestar will turn around*

Rosestar: *turns around slowly, thens shakes head* Oh no, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to. I just needed to see if you could be loyal enough to tell me if I asked you too. It looks like you are, so, come with me if you'd like. Elmpaw will be becoming a warrior tonight, we can make you an offical apprentice at the same time.

Maplepaw: *nods* Thanks. *turns and follows*

[I decided imma gunna play a couple more cats, cause it wouldn't be a very big clan with just Rosestar Elmpaw and Snakebite. Soooo, my other cats will be:

Batfang: small black tom with amber eyes.
Sunlight: extremely pretty ginger she-cat
Mothpaw: Elmpaw's brother, a pretty brown she-cat.
Dewstep: pretty silver tabby she-cat. is the medicine cat.]

*back at camp*

Rosestar: *leaps onto the high rock* Will all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under High Rock for a clan meeting.

*clan gathers*

Rosestar: Tonight we are gathered for two reasons. As you know, Elmpaw and Mothpaw have been training hard for many moons, and it is now time they become warriors. But first... *flicks tail toward Maplepaw* Whilst trainging, Elmpaw and Snakebite came across this young cat stuck in some thorns. I have talked with her, and am inviting her into RainClan. Maplepaw, we welcome you as a full apprentice of RainClan. Batfang will be your mentor.
Now; Elmpaw, Mothpaw. Join me please.

Elmpaw and Mothpaw: *go to stand by Rosestar*

Rosestar: I Rosestar, leader of RainClan, call upo my warrior ancesters to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. Mothpaw and Elmpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?

Elmpaw and Mothpaw: I do.

Rosestar: Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior names:
Elmpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Elmshade. StarClan honors your bravery and strength and we welcome you as a full warrior of RainClan. *rests muzzle on Elmshade's shoulder*

Elmshade: *licks her shoulder respectfully*

Rosestar: Mothpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Mothflight. StarClan honors your courage and determination and we welcome you as a full warrior of RainClan. *rests muzzle of Mothflight's shoulder*

Mothflight: *licks her shoulder respectfully*

Rosestar: As you know; Mothflight and Elmshade. Tonight you must keep a silent vigil over camp, but first let us eat and celebrate!

all of clan: Mothflight! Elmshade! Mothflight! Elmshade!

Maplepaw: *looks at the new warriors sadly (as I was meant to be a warrior before I was banished)* Congratulations.

Elmshade: Thanks! ...Hey, don't look so down. Come on. I'll show you around. We aren't a very big clan, obviously. I'm Elmshade and this is my sister, Mothflight. We're the youngest in the clan I think, how old are you? *moves on before she can answer, leading her over to where the warriors are sitting, pointing at them with my tail as I introduce them* This is our deputy, Snakebite - but you've met him already. This is your new mentor, Batfang...

Batfang: *smiles kindly*

Elmshade: ...and his mate, Sunlight. She's due kits soon, the whole clan's so excited. They'll be the first kits born into RainClan.

Sunlight: *smiles widely at Maplepaw* Welcome.

Elmshade: *smiles respectfully at the older warriors, then pads over to where two she-cats are sitting, talking and eating* And this is Rosestar, our leader, and Dewstep - our medicine cat.

Rosestar: *smiles at the two cats* Thank you for showing Maplepaw around, Elmshade. But you should eat. I'm sure your both hungry... and you and your sister must start your vigil soon.

Elmshade: *dips head respectfully then leads Maplepaw over to the fresh kill pile, picking a plump rabbit for myself and taking it over to where Mothflight is eating a mouse*

Maplepaw: That was a lot to take in. Speaking of which... Thank you all for letting me be an apprentice of your clan *smiles then eats joyfully*

Elmshade: *finishes my rabbit and licks my lips, then stretches and nuzzles Mothflight* Come on. We have to do our vigil... *glances at Maplepaw* Oh, the apprentice's den is there *flicks tail towards a small hollowed out log* It'd not very big, because there are never many apprentices here. Sorry you'll be sleeping alone... *smiles shyly, then moves to the centre of camp to start my vigil*

Mothflight: *shakes head and laughs to myself, then follows him*

Maplepaw: *plods over to the log* Thanks. *tries to squeeze inside and gets paw stuck* not again!

Batfang: *see's her as I walk past to the warriors den and laughs* Here, *frees her paw*

Maplepaw: Thanks so much. I am accident prone... I hope that dosen't happen again.

Batfang: *laughs again* Just get some rest. I'll take you on a tour of the territory tomorrow, we can train a little on the way.

Maplepaw: Thanks *clambers in to the den to sleep*

*the next day*

Batfang: *murmuring to Elmshade*

Elmshade: *nods happily*

Batfang: *grins and runs into the nursery, calling over my shoulder* Thanks Elmshade!

Elmshade: No trouble, Batfang...

*stretches and sits in the sun*

Maplepaw: *Hears batfang calling to Elmshade and wakes up* It's moring already? *squeezes out and head over to Batfang* Good morning. May I ask, why the yelling?

[Batfang's in the nursery now. xD]

Elmshade: Sunlight had her kits last night. Batfang was just asking if I could take you on the tour of the territory he had planned for you today. He'll start training you tomorrow, he just wanted to spend today with his family. You don't mind, right?

Maplepaw: Of course I don't mind... So, the tour?

Elmshade: Sure, right this way. *pads out of camp and runs up a steep hill, then waits for Maplepaw at the top*

Maplepaw: *follows to the top*

Elmshade: *pads silently down a well troden path for a while, then stops at small clearing with short, springy grass* This is where the apprentices train in fighting... when it's not in use it makes quite a nice place to come and relax... especially when the sun is out.

Maplepaw: *looks at the great scenery* It sure is!

Elmshade: I think Batfang was going to stop here and see what your fighting skills are like... I would, but since Batfang's your mentor, it's not much use me assesing you. We'll go up to the creek, then we can hunt if you'd like.

Maplepaw: Ok I shall wait for Batfang. There's a creek?

Elmshade: Yes, it's beautiful. Come on, I'll show you! *runs across the meadow, and disappears into the shrubbery on the other side*

Maplepaw: *chases*
