Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

I just saw the movie and I thought it was pretty awesome. What do you people think of it (if you've seen it)?

The bit with all of the dead grabbing a-hold of Harry really freaked me out

I'm going to see it on Tuesday, but i've read the book so you can talk about it, I already know what's going to happen.

I've seen the trailer and it looks pretty good - but all five of the older movies aren't anywhere close to as good as the books, they tend to miss a lot of stuff out, so my expectation aren't too high for this one, either.

My favourite character is Luna. Watch out for the random stuff she wears, it's really funny. People say I look like Luna... That may or may not be good.

I love Luna, she's in the Order of the Phoenix, too. She becomes quite a big character in the Deathly Hallows.... have you read the books?
That'll be her Gryffindor lion hat, she has that in the books too. I think my favourite character is actually Draco Malfoy. I feel really sorry for him in the last two books (Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows.) I don't know how well it shows it in the movie, but in the books he's really cool - he doesn't want to kill Dumbledore and he's all *crying* and not mean anymore, poor Malfoy.

I know about her lion hat, and her Ravenclaw hat too, as I've also read the books. As for Malfoy I also feel sorry for him, and it's in the movie too. By the way, my (oh so nice) friends in my class have given me the nickname of Bellatrix, so somedays I end up being Luna or Bellatrix ;P

But that bit you spoke about is in the movie. I can't get the exact lines but this is mostly it:
Bellatrix: Do it!
Malfoy: *snifflesniffle starts to lower his wand but no one but Harry notices*
Snape: No! *kills Dumbledore*

Bellatrix isn't there in the book, it's Harry, Draco, Greyback, the brother and sister and that other blonde haired one... then Snape comes running up and kills him.

Yeah I know. But the bit in itself where he doesn't want to is there.

Lol. He still isn't as good as some of he other characters ;)

Yeah... I love Lupin, and Tonks, and Ron, and Luna, and Draco, and Sirius, and Dumbledore, and Neville, and George, and Molly, and Ginny, and Dobby.... and everyone else. xD

well Fred dies in the end... shouldn't be too hard now.

Yeah, yeah. I know.

She kills off so many people in the last one.
Hedwig, Mad-Eye, Dobby, Crabbe, Lupin, Tonks, Fred, Colin, Snape, Voldemort... there's more, Im sure. I just can't remember.

I know. I'll re-read it soon and find out who else dies.

I went to see the movie last night. It was alright, but it didn't stick much to the book.
What was that thing with The Burrow being attacked and set on fire? Plus, I can't believe they missed out Dumbledore's funeral!

There was some very funny bits though; I laughed so hard when Harry was trying to get the memory from Slughorn and he'd drunk that liquid luck. Some of the stuff he said. xD

I really liked the bit with the liquid luck also one of the bit that made me laugh was:
Hagrid: "I don't know why people hate spiders, It's probably the eyes that turn people away,"
Harry: "Or, It could be the fangs you know *as he's saying the next bit he's moving his fingers in front of his face* chk chk chk chk chk chk..."
Hagrid: "Yeah, that too,"

Yeah, that bit was awesome. I also liked the bit where he first see's Slughorn stealing the plants from Herbology.

Slughorn: HARRY!
Harry: Sirrrr!
Slughorn: Bu - How did you get out?
Harry: Well, through the front doors, of course, sir.
Slughorn: But where are you going?
Harry: To see Hagrid. He's a very dear friend of mine, you know.
Slughorn: But I absolutely cannot let you roam the castle alone at this time of night!
Harry: *exasperated* Well then by all means come with me!

and

Slughorn: Harry, I must insist we turn around and go back to the castle!
Harry: No, sir, that would be very counter-productive.
Slughorn: Whatever made you say that?
Harry: ...I have no idea.

those aren't the exact lines, but you know. xD

I also liked the bit where they're going "Poof"

yeah, Hagrid's funny when he's singing.

He's all like "saaaaaaAAAAAAAaaaaDd." just not holding the note at all. xD
