A new horse RolePlay inspired by howrse.com
It works sort of like cat clans, but obviously it's herds of horses. Instead of being ____kit ____paw __________ it's not _____foal, etc, that just sounds stupid.
Instead they have names like Oak Tree that Shaded the Foal, Oak for short. They keep their name for all of their lives, regardless of their rank in the herd. Otherwise it more or less works the same. theres a leader, a deputy, a healer, fighters, learners, foals and elders. they don't need hunters since they eat plants and grass. Oh, and instead of StarClan they have Herd of the Shining Stars.
My herd name will be Herd of the Setting Sun.
I'll have a few horses just so theres enough for an actual herd, you can have more than one if you want.
the horses of the herd are;
Rose that Blossomed in Spring - Rose for short: a roan Irish Hunter mare, quite tall, about 16hands high. is calm and level headed, has a good sence of humor and is quite understanding. but she is fierce and unbeatable when needs be. she is the leader.
Black Clouds that Harbour a Storm - Storm for short: a fast, lean black Mustang stallion. he is the best jumper in the herd and has been known to clear human walls with ease. is very down to earth and serious all the time. - the deputy.
Beech Tree that Nested the Sparrow - Beech for short: powerful chestnut brown Arabian stallion. because of his strength he is often used for moving fallen trees, etc. he is outgoing and loud on the outside, but inside he is quiet and very sentimental - the head fighter.
Full Moon that was Shining Silver - Silver for short: a very pretty Friesian mare who's black coat shines silver in the moon light. she is quiet, timid and reserved most of the time, but she has a very sharp temper and doesn't give second chances - a fighter.
Thundering Hooves over the Barren Plain - Thunder for short: The only foal of Rose and Storm. A greyish black Hunter/Mustang cross with the hight and stamina of his mother, but the speed and jumping ability of his father. is spunky, outgoing and rather cheeky. he is however willing to learn and wants to be the best fighter he can be for his herd - a learner.
A Lucky Second Chance - Lucky for short: An unfortunate (black, Arabian) foal who was born in a pasture by the highway. When he started walking he wandered onto the highway and was nearly killed. He was a fighter though and managed to live through his ordeal, he cannot gallop very fast due to a permanatly injured back leg.
A Delicate Clap of Thunder - Clap for short: An Arabian Mare who's only companion is her foal Lucky. She has never fit into any herds. An outsider. She is quite strong but spooks easily, epecially at thunder.
