Thundering Hooves

Thunder: *squares my self off and tenses my muscles*

*more rustles*

Lucky: *hushed tone* Uh... who is it?

*a soft thud sounds just on the other side of the bushes, and it sounds like a horse falling over*

Lucky: I don't think it's an attacker. Whaddoya think?

Thunder: I don't know... *takes a step toward the bushes*

Lucky: *a head behind Thunder*

Thunder: *peeks through the bushes and see's a small mare collapsed on the ground...*

[is it alright if I take her as a charcter?]

Lucky: *to her* Are you alright?

[sure, i was planning on making her the healer - but otherwise fine]

Thunder: Do you need help...?

[Well, meh, you can have her, I'm too lazy]

Lucky: yes, do you?

[hehe alright]

unnamed horse: I've torn a muscle... I can feel it. A splint... a long, strong branch will do. And some strong reeds, please.

Lucky: There are some strong reeds near the edge of the lake. I'll go get them *backs out through the bush to get them*

horse: thankyou.

Lucky: *brings reeds*

Thunder: *appears with a large, strong branch about as long as a full grown horses leg and as about half as thick*

Lucky: Alright, what now?

horse: Tie the branch to my leg with the reeds.

Lucky: *picks up branch then places it along her leg* All righty then, *grabs reeds and attempts to tie them (but obviously it's a to horse job)* um...

Thunder: Here, *grabs one end of the reeds between my teeth*

Lucky: *pulls other ends of the reeds to tie it*

Thunder: *pulls it tight, then turns to the horse* Is that alright?

Lucky: Yes, is it?

horse: *stumbles to my feet and places my injured foot down carefully* Yes, that's a good strong splint. Have you done this before?

Lucky: Not myself. I had it once done to me when I was young.

Thunder: I've never even seen it done...

horse: Well done this, that's a splint any Herb Horse would be proud of... *flicks tail towards Lucky* You've had it done before...?
